This is a very nice six-tube early super-het with AVC. The radio was very advanced for the era, and offers a split shaft tuning allowing both macro and micro tuning. It has a unique handle on the top for easy movement about the house

1934 RCA Victor Radio Model 128 Monday, September 18, 2023  
This RCA Victor radio embodies that style but also blends it with another popular style-known as the "tombstone" style which was an upright art deco design. This is a very big table set. For tuning it uses an unusual spring-loaded ball bearing pressed against a roller that is connected to a gear mechanism. In other words its a "direct drive" tuner.

1939 Sparton of Canada Model 7140 Monday, September 18, 2023  
The 1939 Sparton 7140 was built with a unique drum tuning dial. The radio is tuned by rotating the drum to the desired station. Sparton of Canada, Ltd. was established in 1930 in London, Ont, by a US company, Sparks-Withington. It manufactured radios and phonographs,until 1969.

1951 Zenith Radio Model H725Z Friday, September 30, 2022  
This 1951 Zenith radio was in good condition when I found it. I replaced all the capacitors and most of the resistors during the restoration process. I left the cabinet as it was since it was in good condition. I just had to clean it up a bit. I added an internal Bluetooth Module to this radio that enables the user to play music from a Smartphone.

1940 Phonola Radio Model 8A63 Monday, April 12, 2021  
This 1940 Phonola radio was in very poor condition when I found it. The cabinet was in pieces and rodents were living in the electronics. I replaced all the capacitors and most of the resistors during the restoration process and completely refinished and new decals added. I added a Bluetooth Module to this radio that sits on top of the radio to play FM stations and music from a smartphone.
