1934 RCA Model 128

1934 RCA Victor - Model 128

This RCA Victor radio embodies that style but also blends it with another popular style-known as the "tombstone" style which was an upright art deco design. This is a very big table set. For tuning it uses an unusual spring-loaded ball bearing pressed against a roller that is connected to a gear mechanism. In other words its a "direct drive" tuner.

I have only finished the cabinet of this model at this time but hope to finish the complete restoration of the electronics in the next few months.
